North East Methodists Call for Positive Political Dialogue

Statement from the North East District Synod of the Methodist Church in Ireland at their  meeting on 16 September in Mossley, after discussion on the present political crisis.

“The North East District of the Methodist Church in Ireland calls on all our political parties to engage positively and constructively with each other and with the British and Irish Governments at this time of political crisis.   It is our hope and prayer that locally elected politicians will find ways to work together to make the devolved administration function effectively for the benefit of all our citizens in Northern Ireland.”
