On Sunday 1st June, the lawn at Whitehead Methodist Church was taken over for “The Big Lunch”. This event, run by the Whitehead Community Association and Diversity Day, was an opportunity to bring your own lunch, meet people and for the children to enjoy face-painting, balloon sculpture, a magician and the art table.
Over fifty children took part and an even larger number of adults enjoyed the fun and the chat. Even though there were a few showers of rain towards the end of the event it didn’t matter because two big marquees had been erected and everyone enjoyed themselves.

Everyone had a fantastic time at our annual Coffee Morning and Sale on 4 June. 
A beautiful painting by local artist Shirley Snook will be auctioned by Islandmagee Methodist Church.
