On Sunday 17 May the Methodist Church in Whitehead held a Dress Silly Sunday where the congregation were asked by the Sunday School children to dress up for charity.
Everybody looked really silly.
The event raised £510 of which £255 will go to each of Kids4School and Hope House in Whitehead.
Hope House provides a flat overlooking the sea in Whitehead which provides short breaks for families of cancer sufferers.
Kids4School provides funding for schools in Tanzania, Africa.
Everyone had a fantastic time at our annual Coffee Morning and Sale on 4 June. 
A beautiful painting by local artist Shirley Snook will be auctioned by Islandmagee Methodist Church.
